What happened?

Running a web app costs money every month. The revenue coming in (exactly $0 per month toward the end), was not enough to sustain operations.

I thought it was supported by affiliate links and ad revenue?

Yes, that was the plan. Originally, Amazon began tracking click-throughs for the platform. However, they ultimately refused to allow the site to participate as an affiliate. This is despite a number of other affiliate websites following the same gift registry model. Several attempts and appeals yielded no real answers or progress toward becoming approved.

Can I get a copy of my data?

If you have a list or other data you would like to export, please email eyng.fyi at gmail.com with the email address you used to log in.

What are you going to do with the data you have?

A backup of the database will be retained until December 31st, 2024 to support export requests. After that, all data will be deleted.
